 Netflix has crossed 230.75 million global paid subscribers, gaining 7.66 million subscribers in the last quarter of 2022, reports IndieWire.

The company's co-founder and co-CEO Reed Hastings is set to step down, the news website has revealed.

Netflix also announced that its "paid sharing" subscription options will be available "more widely" in the first quarter of 2023.

His company is now hiring Greg Peters as co-CEO, who will work alongside Ted Sarandos.

Netflix projected an increase of 4.5 million subscribers in the fourth and final quarter of 2022.
